We are currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our sales team based in Madrid to cover the regions of Southeast Asia. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing sector.   
 
   
Performance Objectives   
 
  • Representing our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding of them.
  • Proactively seeking new leads and business opportunities in the market through Outbound sales channel.
  • Using Salesforce tools (CRM, sales engagement platform), cold calling, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and emailing campaigns to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Conducting Discovery Calls and arranging Demo meetings for Sales and Customer Success teams with potential clients.
  • Managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects and engaging sales executives for next steps.
  • Identifying best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook.
  • Identifying prospects’ needs and suggesting appropriate products/services.
  • Reporting to Account Executive and BDR Team Lead and providing status updates regarding the Pipeline and Quantitative KPIs.
   
Competitive Candidate Profile   
 
  • C2 in English.
  • Prior experience is strongly desired, but not required.
  • Knowledge of Asian business culture is desired.
  • Cross-cultural communication and high ethics code is required – we are diverse company with 22+ nationalities.
  • Empathy and good communication skills via phone and email.
  • Ability to work under pressure during the most active sales seasons.
  • Ability to “read between the lines” and identify key pain points of potential customers.
  • High self-discipline and ability to balance remote and on-site work.
Desired Skills  
 
  • Studies in Business and Engineering are positively valued.
  • C1-C2 level of Japanese is strongest competitive advantage and will be prioritized.
  • Previous work experience in Solar PV industry, especially in Asia.
